Stroke: Song Flies To France For Treatment

Cameroonian football legend Rigobert Song has flown to France to continue his recovery after suffering a stroke on Sunday 2 October. The former Lierpool defender was reported to have suffered the stroke at his Yaounde residence. Cameroon Health Minister, Andre Mama Fouda announced the development saying the head of state had ordered that the football veteran be properly taken care of.

Song, 40, came out of the stroke on Tuesday after being placed in intensive care at the Yaounde Emergency Centre.
