Mavin artiste, Aphro Di’ja and music video director, Kemi Adetiba have penned down their thoughts concerning Donald Trump’s victory as the US president. The two Nigerian celebrities, who relayed their minds on social media, worded Nigerians afraid of the rumored consequences of Trump’s victory.
Adetiba, in a series if tweets noted that the US election should serve as an eye-opener for Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
“If the elections have shown us anything today, we Africans need to fix our continent. Africans both in & out need to focus on dev. of AFRICA.”
“If EVERYONE is shocked and baffled by the way the count is going, then WHO were the people out there voting for Trump???,” she tweeted.
Also, Di’ja, also said in her post on Instagram page, “maybe it is time to stop running to America everytime we have a problem in our country. It takes hitting rock bottom to hit Reset! This election should remind you there are other countries asides America. The American election should just remind you to love yourself and fix your own country. That way u have a place they cannot drive u from!”
