The Desert Warriors of Algeria will jet into the Nigerian capital of Abuja on Monday ahead of Saturday’s epic battle in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state.
A source revealed that after the arrival of the team, they will train at the Abuja National Stadium on Monday evening.
Super Eagles players will also start arriving from their bases on Monday, and will be camped at their usual Bolton White Hotel at Zone 7 in the federal capital territory.
Gernot Rohr, coach of the Nigerian team, is already in the country and will watch the final of the Federations Cup at the Teslim Balogun stadium, Lagos, on Sunday.
Ogenyi Onazi is likely to be the first player to arrive, a source hinted.
Like the Algerians, the Eagles will start their training at the Abuja stadium, as Rohr is said to be not too impressed with the turf of the Uyo stadium.
Nigeria and Algeria, which are rivals in international football, last met in the 2010 edition of the African Cup of Nations.
