It was indeed a great moment for Aramide, one of Nigeria’s vocal singers after she was announced as the Best Female Artiste in Africa at the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) held in Lagos.
In what was probably the most shocking win of the night, Aramide, mounted the stage resplendent in gold and black to pick up her award after outshining the likes of Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade and Seyi Shay.
Aramide fell in the category that had some of the biggest names in Africa such as Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade and Seyi Shay.
Aramide is popularly known for her fast-tempo song ‘Funmi lowo’ featuring Sir Dauda.
