Arsenal will be without right-back, Hector Bellerin, for four weeks after manager Arsene Wenger confirmed the Spaniard is injured. Bellerin picked a knock in the Gunners’ Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur.
The 21-year-old has been a regular for the Gunners this season, making 14 appearances across all competitions.
He is, however, now set for an enforced spell on the treatment table.
Arsenal will be forced to shuffle their defensive pack in his absence, starting with Saturday’s eagerly-anticipated Premier League clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The north Londoners have European meetings with Paris Saint-Germain and Basel on the horizon, along with league games against Bournemouth, West Ham, Stoke and Everton and an EFL Cup quarter-final duel with Southampton.
Wenger will be hoping, though, that Bellerin is back in contention for a trip to Manchester City on December 18, as Arsenal head into the busy festive period.
