Arsenal’s Sanchez Sustains Injury On Chile Duty

By Adebayo Williams

Arsenal’s Chilean winger, Alexis Sanchez has sustained a muscle injury on international duty. The 27-year-old is set to miss Chile’s World Cup qualifier at club-mate David Ospina’s Colombia on Thursday. Chile’s medical team have allayed fears of any serious problem by saying the player will stay back for treatment as he could be ready to face Uruguay next Tuesday.

Sanchez has scored eight goals for the Gunners this season in a centre forward position. He will travel with the team to Manchester to face Jose Mourinho’s United in the Premier League on 19 November.
