The Super Eagles will wear a new set of jerseys in their World Cup qualifying match against Algeria on Saturday. The Nigeria Football Federation signed a three-and-half year contract with kit manufacturers Nike worth $3.75 million.
The home kit is a solid green shirt, with white ribbing around the back of the modern crewneck collar featuring Nike’s Dri-FIT technology. Nike’s Dri-FIT technology draws sweat away from the body to the exterior of the shirts and shorts, where it quickly evaporates. This allows players to perform at their best by remaining cooler, drier and more comfortable.
Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi, a Nike athlete is looking forward to wearing the new kit against the Greens in Uyo.
“Looking forward to playing in our new kit against Algeria on Saturday,” he tweeted.
