Former Germany international Tim Wiese made a winning start to his World Wrestling Entertainment career in Munich. The 34-year-old was on a tag team with Cesaro and Sheamus and they beat The Shining Stars and Bo Dallas. He got the pinfall after performing his finishing move, a body splash.
The ex-Hoffenheim stopper also revealed the moniker that he would be using in the WWE – ‘The Machine’. He competed for the first time after a period of training at the WWE performance centre and at a specially designed facility in his homeland.
Wiese had appeared at a Frankfurt live event as a special guest timekeeper prior to his debut match. He was then invited to train with the company by WWE icon and executive Vice President of talent, live events and creative Triple H.
