A fresh graduate of the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Felix Agandi, has died mysteriously on Tuesday. The 27-year-old Mass Communications student, who defended his project about four days before his death, was said to have screamed from his sleep waking the neighbours who rushed him to the hospital. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
Agandi, a Delta State-born orphan, was said to have struggled to pay his fees right from his national diploma days until he graduated. His remains have been buried at Ilesa, Osun State, where he lived with his siblings on the same day.
The Public Relations Officer of the institution, Tope Abiola, confirmed the death. He said the management of the school had visited the deceased’s siblings to commiserate with them.
