An Osun State High Court judge sitting at Ilesha has sentenced an 84-year-old herbalist, Oluwafemi Fagbemi and two others to death by hanging for killing one Jacob Ajayi.
The presiding judge, Kudirat Akano, passed judgement on the suspects after they were found guilty on a two counts charge of conspiracy and murder. They allegedly killed their victim for money ritual.
The prosecutor, Abiodun Badora, told the court that the offence committed on April 3, 2012, was punishable under sections 324 and 319 of the Criminal Code, Cap. 34, Vol. 2, Law of Osun State 2002.
He stated that “the headless body of deceased was recovered from a septic tank, but his genital and part of his leg had been removed.”
