Reno Omokri, ex-aide of former Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan, has mocked TB Joshua, founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, over his wrong prediction of the just concluded US Presidential election.
Omokri’s post on social media was short of calling the prophet a liar, urging him to repent.
“Dear TB Joshua. Who gave you your prophecy? My God is not a man that He would lie neither is He the son of man that He would repent!”, he wrote.
Joshua in a recently released prophecy, claimed a woman would win the election. It was assumed he was referring to Hillary Clinton, the US Democratic candidate, who unfortunately lost to her opponent, Donald Trump.
“Ten days ago, I saw the new President of America with a narrow win. The new President will be facing several challenges over many issues, including: passing bills, attempts to possibly pass a vote of no confidence on the new President. The boat of the new President will be rocked. By the way, in order not to keep you in suspense, what I frankly saw is a woman,” Joshua said.
Other Nigerians who reacted to the development include, Akom Akom, social media activist, whose post subjected the Synagogue boss to total ridicule.
“Am I dreaming? Trump leading Clinton? But I thought our prophet said the Democrats candidate would win? This shows that some men of God were not actually called. I am ashamed”, he said.
Seun Ladoke, another activist wrote, “The man of God just proved to us that he is not what he wants us to believe he is. He just disgraced Christendom. I am yet to believe his prophecy just missed the target.”
