Two notable celebrities, Juliet Ibrahim and Ik Osakioduwa will be anchoring this year’s edition of the Miss Africa Beauty Pageant, as the show holds November 26, 2016.
Meanwhile, artistes like Tekno, Kiss Daniels, Victoria Kimani, Di’Ja, Yemi Sax, Big Dady, Real P, and a host of others will be thrilling at the event which is put together by the Cross River State Government.
Ken Aklah, Special Adviser to the Cross River State Governor on Events announced this in Lagos recently.
Aklah said the pageant will be holding days before the globally recognised Calabar Carnival.
He noted that the Pageant was conceptualized as an event that will sell the theme of climate change to the world.
“We introduced the Miss Africa Beauty Pageant to be able to crown the Queen of Africa who will represent the continent from the Cross River perspective to say to the world that the State is standing tall in the drive and promotion of climate change, sustainable environment,” he said.
According to him, 30 countries have already plugged in to the vision and their queens will be arriving the city of Calabar on the 15th of this month. The auditions have been done by the managers of the face of Africa who will also be managing the event.
