The Republic of Korea is set to launch a rice processing plant in Bida, Niger State, Nigeria. The government said is its contribution to Nigeria’s economic development. The arrangement is part of the Korean International Cooperation Agency, KOICA.
Korean Ambassador to Nigeria, Noh Kyu-duk hinted this during the South Korean Official Development Day Celebration in Abuja.
Kyu-duk disclosed the aids the Korean Government has been giving Nigeria dates back as far as 1991, capitalizing in ICT, Education, Agriculture and Vocational training
“To name a few large scale projects, my Embassy is building primary and junior secondary model school in Abuja and is implementing a project to strengthen the electronic-Government system for the Federal Government.
“The rice processing complex in Bida is almost completed awaiting official handover in coming December”, the ambassador said.
