Super Eagles’ Victor Moses as promised to give his all to the team’s World Cup qualification cause regardless of where he is played. The Chelsea winger, who has been deployed as a wing back under Antonio Conte’s 3-4-3 formation, said he will do everything possible to make the sure the Eagles soar over their Algerian foes on Saturday.
Moses, however, said he is not happy playing as a wing back but he does it to help the team. He promised to do same for the Eagles if deployed in that area.
“I can’t say I’m not happy playing as a wingback, I’m the type who gives his all to his team regardless of where I’m playing from. I’m a forward minded player but I don’t mind playing anywhere to help my team,” he said.
“Club side and national team are not the same, I can’t say where the manager will play me but I’m ready to give my best in any role,” he stressed.
The Super Eagles will play Algeria at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State on Saturday. The Gernot Rohr-tutored side top the table with three points from their victory over Zambia in Ndola. Algeria and Cameroon have one point each from their 1-1 draw.
