Nigeria Runs Short Of Bonds Target

Nigeria, Wednesday, issued N39 billion local currency bonds far short of its original offer.

The country had wanted to raise N95 billion from bonds that are meant to grow in twenty years time.

According to traders, investors demanded higher yields for the notes so the government issued a lower amount.
