Police in US have arrested a man named, Zachary Benson, for allegedly threatening to kill the US President- elect, Donald Trump.

The 24-year-old suspect, a resident of Fairview Park in Cleveland, Ohio, was arrested by the Secret Service agents, a few hours after the US elections. He posted a message on his twitter page, threatening to assassinate Trump over his victory.

“Diplomacy. Fucking Fools. I hate you all. I want to bomb every one of your voting booths and your general areas.

“My life goal is to assassinate Trump. Don’t care if I serve infinite sentences. That man deserves to decease existing”, he tweeted.

Benson was reportedly charged to a federal court following his arrest. He appeared in court during the previous week and he is to remain in custody, pending a bail hearing.

However, he insisted he never intended any harm to anyone and would not want anything to happen to Trump or the general public despite his threat about bombing ‘general areas.’
