Ritualists Behead Three Siblings In Taraba

Some persons thought to be ritualists have beheaded three siblings in Gasol Local Government Area of Taraba State.

The victims, namely Terdors, 10, Terna, 8, and Sulumshima, 6, while on their way to the river for water were ambushed and killed.

Cecilia Emberga Agammbuee, the deceased siblings’ mother, said she learnt of their ordeal through their friend who escaped the onslaught. Ceceila said she and her husband alongside other villagers had rushed to the scene only to meet their headless bodies.

“The escaped children brought the news home. Immediately, my husband, fellow villagers and I ran to the scene of the attack where we found the headless bodies of the three children in the pool of their blood. It was horrifying.

‘When I saw their headless bodies, I thought I would die”, she said.

“I had four children. With three of them killed in cold blood, I am left with only one. It all shows how dangerous the land is”, Cecilia added.

David Misal, the State Police Command Public Relations Officer, who confirmed the incident, said investigations were ongoing. He added that no arrest had been made.
