Transfers: Conte Plots Massive Changes, PSG Hunt Lukaku, Others

By Adebayo Williams

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is rumoured to be considering a massive reshuffle of his squad in the January window. The Italian tactician is said to be willing to shop reinforcements in his midfield and defence with Sevilla’s Steven N’zonzi and Inter Milan’s Jeffery Kondogbia catching his fancy.

Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas is rumoured to be a transfer target for Premier League side West Ham United. The former Arsenal and Barcelona man has found first team football hard to come by under Conte this season. The arrival of N’Golo Kante from Leicester City in the summer kept Fabregas on the bench for longer spells. The Blues are reportedly willing to split his wages with the Hammers to ensure a deal is agreed to take the player off their hands.

Paris Saint Germain are reportedly interested in signing Everton’s Belgian striker, Romelu Lukaku. The player, already with seven goals this season, is needed at the Parc des Princes to provide options in attack for the club with Edinson Cavani the only natural centre forward in the pack.
