Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane has signed a new six-year contract with the North London club. The England international had been subject of speculations following his refusal to sign the contract weeks back. The 23-year-old will now remain at the White Hart Lane until 2022.
Kane is the Spurs highest goal scorer with six goals despite missing matches due to injury. He has bagged five in his last four games for the Mauricio Pochettino-led side.
“It’s amazing. Everyone knows how much I love this team and what I feel for this club,” he told the official Tottenham website.
“To sign another contract is a special feeling. We’ve got a great, young squad and the club is moving in the right direction.”
