Nigerian airline, Aero Contractors, has sacked 410 employees from its workforce.
The airline in a statement cited huge personnel cost and sundry operational challenges for its action. “Those in Maintenance Repair and Overhaul, and other essential staff in critical departments will not be affected.
“Affected workers will be able to access their full gratuity as well as a part of their pension to cushion the effect of the development,” the airline said.
Aero Contractors had previously shut its operations down in September 2016 only to return in December 2016 and currently run by its new management.
