Arsenal have confirmed that they will play German giants Bayern Munich again on 19 July. The Gunners want to have another go at their Champions League nightmare in a friendly match in China.
The Club’s chief executive, Ivan Gazidis has said that fans in China would be thrilled to watch such a high-profile game in their country.
“It will be very special for our Chinese fans to see a game of this stature,” he told the club’s official website.
“We have a fantastic following in China and the two games we are playing there this summer will be an exciting part of our build up for the new season.”
The Gunners were demolished 10-2 on aggregates by the German side in the round of 16 of the Champions League.
Arsenal will also play Chelsea three days after facing off with Bayern. The team will also play Sydney FC on 13 July and Western Sydney Wanderers on 15 July. They will then round-off their pre-season fixtures with the Emirates Cup from 29 to 30 of the same month.
