Barcelona stunned Paris Saint Germain by overturning a four-goal deficit to progress into the quarter final of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.
Goals from Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi, Neymar and Sergi Roberto condemned Unai Emery’s men to their exit after enjoying a 4-0 victory at the Parc des Princes a fortnight ago.
Luis Suarez opened the scoring for the Catalans in the 3rd minute while Layvin Kurzawa scored an own goal to hand the hosts a 2-0 lead.
Lionel Messi made it three in the 50th minute after putting his penalty past Kevin Trapp in goal. Edinson Cavani gave the visitors a glimmer of hope by grabbing a goal in the 62nd minute. Neymar then scored in the 88th and 90th minute to condemn PSG to another premature exit from the European stage.
Sergi Roberto put the final nail in the coffin within seconds to make it 6-1 on a miserable night for the French giants.
