Date, Time For El Clasico Announced

Real Madrid and Barcelona will battle for the second time this season on 23 April at 20:45 (CET). The teams will be chasing victory as the winner could take the top spot in the race for the La Liga title pending the outcome of Madrid’s game-in-hand.

The sides played a 1-1 draw at the Nou Camp when they first met this season. Luis Suarez had given the Catalans a 1-0 lead in the 53rd minute before captain Sergio Ramos grabbed the equaliser in the stoppage time.

This will be the 233rd competitive meeting of the two great institutions, with Madrid marginally ahead on the head-to-head record, with 93 wins to Barcelona’s 90, while 49 games have ended all square.
