‘Ibrahim Magu got recompense for his sins by being rejected as EFCC chairman by the Senate’, Reno Omokiri, a lieutenant to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, seems to say. Omokiri, who serves Jonathan as social media handler, is a hard-line critic of the incumbent government tweeted “The irony of Ibrahim Magu complaining about lack of fair hearing. ‘For whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap.’-Galatians 6:7”.
He reacted in a tweet to Magu’s outcry about being denied fair hearing by the indicting Department of State Security, DSS, report upon which the senate rejected his nomination. The DSS report, which forward two reports to the Senate on Magu, indicted the latter for corruption and rights abuses.
