After watching Arsenal lose embarrassingly to Bayern Munich in both legs of their Champions League round of 16 match, a Nigerian fan has penned a passionate plea to manager Arsene Wenger to leave his position.
Fans pleading with Wenger to leave the club has been rampant since the Gunners’ season fell apart with back to back losses in the Premier League worsened by the sound beating by merciless Bayern Munich.
There were series of protests outside the Emirates Stadium before the game kicked off on Wednesday night with fans displaying placards urging the former Monaco manager to quit his role as Gunners chief.

LETTER TO ARSENE WENGER
I woke up this morning to realize you’ve not been sacked, neither have you resigned and i wonder why? I’m sorry sire, no disrespect, but haven’t you got the tiniest bit of dignity? We’re tired.
Time and money being wasted week in, week out. Those i pity the most are the fans who travel from one city, state or even country to another, they go back home in tears.
“You make money for the team,” some people say but is that your primary assignment? If that’s what they need you for, the board should change your ROLE to maybe financial controller or whatever.
Maybe you haven’t been reading the news, Paulo Bento, now a former manager of Olympiakos was dismissed despite leading the league by 7 points, only because he lost 3 straight league games. Yet you sit here over a decade without delivering the title. And we still think Arsenal is one of the biggest teams in Europe, isn’t that funny?
Guess what? The present EPL top scorer, Harry Kane, was only 10-years-old when you last won the title. Why? Sir, why? Please, I’ve tried so hard to force myself to support another football team but it’s not working.
Sir, please go or change your role and employ a manager since you’re so attached to the club. Or Arsenal should stop selling tickets and showing us matches on payTv, let’s know you don’t exist.
Or is it about your name that’s spelt like the name of the club? What really? Please tell us. Formally, win or loose, we supported the team, that’s because of the beautiful football, but that beautiful football is there no more. It’s heart-breaking. We thought Jose was being too harsh when he called you a specialist in failure but you never proved any less.
That 4th position in the EPL is your trophy but guess what? You ain’t gonna make that this season. Even if you do, who cares? #I’mOut
