Prince Deji Adeyanju, former New Media Director of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and his co-detainee, Brian Jonah Dennis has been released.
Adeyanju, alongside Dennis was picked up on Friday morning by security operatives for staging a protest against the secret trial of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, leader, Nnamdi Kanu by the Federal Government.
Speaking with journalists shortly after his release, the former aide said, “I have told them that the protests will continue. We will not STOP and we will not be cowed.
“We will announce a new date for the #SayNoToSecretTrial.
“On Monday we will do #FreeAustinOkai and #FreeKemiOlunloyo.”
He, however, thanked members of the public who voiced out for his release, adding that he is still under threats from the police, the army and operatives of the Department of State Security Services, DSS to stop the protests.
