The Nigeria Police Force said it has arrested five Boko Haram suspects in Bauchi state, northern Nigeria. In a statement he issued on Thursday, Garba Baba Umar, Bauchi state police commissioner, said the suspect, Muhammad A. Nafiu, was number 176 on the wanted list of the Nigerian Army.
The suspect, who is an indigene of Balanga local government in Gombe State was arrested at Tema Village in Toro local government area of Bauchi State where he relocated after they were dislodged from Sambisa forest.
Equally, a joint operation between the police and Military led to the arrest of suspected Sara-Suka thugs, identified as Osama Abubakar and Suleiman Umar.
The police statement also some cultists were arrested. They are Ibrahim Ahmed of Birshi Village, Usman Yunusa also of Birshi Village and Emmanuel Ayuba of Yelwan Tsakani.
