The pregnant woman, along with the other deceased were said to have been trapped inside a Keke Napep when a big tree fell across Hydro Junction around 6pm. Some of the deeased were said to be passers-by who trying to run for cover from the rain.
The Lokoja Local Government Council Administrator, Ashiru Lawal, bemoaned the incident saying it was the first of its kind in the area. He said the current administration should endeavour to cut down old trees that could pose danger.
