Tokunbo Idowu, also known as TBoss, has vowed in a short video she wouldn’t allow a situation that normalizes the sexual assault on her by housemate, Kemen.
the ex-Big Brother Naija housemate on Thursday released a statement following recent social media firestorm about she and Kemen while in the BBNaija house.
TBoss addressed the issue in a short video posted via her Instagram handle, saying she will no longer allow anyone trivialise or normalise the incident that happened to her during the show.
“I feel it is imperative I say a few words concerning the events of the past few days since I got back to the country,” she said.
“I would like to thank everyone for supporting me in my Big Brother Naija journey, I am beyond grateful for your time, immense effort and resources it took to get me to the top three.
“It has been a big adjustment coming back home to Nigeria considering the attention my participation in the show attracted, while I have tried to adjust as fast as I can, certain incidences have happened in the past week that have been hard to shake off,” she added.
She further stated, “I have realised I will always be in the eye of the storm and that is why I have chosen to be measured in my approach of speech, I am however not oblivious to it all,” TBoss said.
“Going forward, I will no longer allow myself to be put in situations that trivialise and attempt to normalise the unfortunate incident that happened to me on March 5th in the Big Brother house.
“Words are powerful but actions speak louder,” she added.
