A woman who killed her father-in-law has told reporters that she is happy. Amanda Taylor stabbed Charles Taylor to death at his home in Ellett, Virginia, United States in April 2015. She killed the 59-year-old a year after her husband, Rex, had committed suicide. She told interviewers that she wanted him to feel her pains since he was to blame for her husband’s death.
The mother-of-two maintains that her actions made her happy that she took a selfie with the dead body and the knife she used to commit the murder. She spoke to Crime Watch Daily from jail where she has been sentenced to life.
“I have absolutely no remorse for what I did to Charlie Taylor at all. I did exactly what I wanted to do.
”I just wanted him to feel the pain I felt. That’s the most alive I’ve felt since Rex died,” she said.
“I was very happy, I was very happy just to finally get all that built-up hate and anger and all those feelings out on him.
”When I stabbed him I didn’t see anything and he just looked at me and he was like “what are you doing?” and as I was stabbing him, he had reached up and got my hair.
”I continued to stab him but he kept yelling and it made me nervous so Sean took the crow bar, the tire iron or whatever, and hit him in the back of the head,” she said.
Sean Ball, her accomplice in the crime was sentenced to 60 years in prison.
Amanda also revealed that she had a fascination with terror group ISIS and had contacted them but got no response.
