Parents Of Rescued Chibok Girls Allowed Visit

Parents of the rescued 82 Chibok girls will meet their daughters on Saturday, reports say. The parents will be transported from Chibok to Abuja today.

“82 girls were rescued two weeks ago. Each of the girls is entitled to two parents or two relatives as the case may be which implies that 164 parents or relatives will be conveyed to Abuja by the Federal Government.

“They will be given accommodation and will be reunited with their children/wards on Saturday,” a top security source told The PUNCH.

The source also stated that a combined team of policemen, soldiers and men of the Department of State Services will escort the parents to Abuja. He said the cost of transportation would be paid by the federal government.
