Spanish striker Sandro Ramirez may be on his way to Everton if the Toffees are able to pull through their bid for the 21-year-old player.
Everton said they have met Ramirez on the buy-out clause of £5.25m.
Should the football club succeed with its push, it would have splurge a whopping £60m on new signees, including former Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford signed for £30m and Ajax captain Davy Klaassen for £23.6m
Ramirez joined Barcelona’s youth set-up while he was 14 before going on to make 17 senior appearances for the club, scoring two goals.
