Tyson Fury has said he is more Nigerian than rival Anthony Joshua. The boxers, both British, have been trading words following Joshua's victory over Wladimir Klitschko in April, 2017.
Joshua had said, “He didn’t throw a punch. He didn’t come to fight. He just walked around the ring for like 12 rounds, it’s boring. It’s not winning, it’s how you win.”
But Fury has hit back, in a video he shared on Instagram: “I’m more Nigerian than you! I’ll fly the flag for Nigeria when we fight.
“Gypsy man represents the world.”
“I see AJ is talking again, saying my fight was boring.
“Better to win and be boring than to get dropped all over the floor and scraping a win.”
Fury has been undergoing rehabilitation after admitting to being depressed and reports also linked him with cocaine use. The pair have said they would have a go at each other when the 'Gypsy King' is back fully.
