Police Arrest Five For Beating Pregnant Woman To Death

The police in Adamawa State have arrested five men for allegedly beating a pregnant woman to death in the Guyuk Local Government Area of the state. Moses Jitoboh, the Commissioner of Police in the state, said the men used ropes and sticks to kill the woman, 32-year-old Ayina Afraimu, after she was accused of witchcraft.

He added that the suspects, Abraham Adamu, 18, Malachi Yilafana, 35, Thomas AJI, 54, Zakariya Chorum, 56 and Newana Ilihal, a 20-year-old female, would be charged to court for culpable homicide, criminal conspiracy, and defamation of character.
