Arsenal’s Premier League rivals have shown interest in signing their English midfielder, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The player, who excelled for the Gunners in the wing-back role he played towards the end of last season, has attracted interest from Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool. The 23-year-old player has been in limbo regarding his deal at the Emirates Stadium. With talks of a new contract said to have stalled, it remains unknown where the player might ply his trade next season.
Reports have said the player could favour a move to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool should a contract with Arsenal fail to materialise.
Meanwhile, Manchester City are preparing a bid to lure Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to the Etihad Stadium. Skysports reports that the Gabonese striker has been listed by coach Pep Guardiola as a priority target after his planned move to Paris Saint Germain fell through.
