Cable Network News, CNN, has derided Nigeria over President Muhammadu Buhari's long absence from the country owing to an ailment from which he is said to be recovering. Fareed Zakaria, anchor of CNN programme, “The Global Public Square (GPS)" asked mockingly during the show: “The head of state from which country has not set foot in his homeland in over two months?” He immediately supply possible answers, which included Nigeria - the only right option among the others such as Saudi Arabia, Cuba, and Syria.
Buhari has been in London since May 7 on a medical leave . He has been visited recently by Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, some governors, All Progressives Congress, APC, national chairman John Oyegun and few ministers.
