Man Wins N20 Million Give’n’Take National Jackpot

A man, Sidney Chukwuweike Osahon, has won N20million lottery, after playing the winning number with just N100. The Director General of National Lottery Regulatory Commission is expected to present Osahon his cheque at a ceremony to be held January 14.

The lottery company, Give’n’Take National Jackpot, said Osahon, with ticket number 706431113814, emerged winner of the whooping sum of N20 million in a repeat draw. Osahon was said to have played the winning game on 27th November, 2017 at 06:24:36 hours on Give ’n’ Take National Jackpot Web play and had his main National Jackpot stake numbers as 20-28-04-31-27 and Yobe state as his State Powerball.

Moreover, it was revealed Osahon would not have won had the initial winner claimed its winnings. The company said a player with ticket number 01210387804022282314 had earlier won the jackpot, but didn’t show up within the given seven days for redemption.

The Give’n’Take National Jackpot said it decided to repeat the draw to ensure a winner emerge. “In keeping with our avowed promise to ensure that someone wins the National Jackpot Prize, we held a second electronic draw after the Weekly Jackpot Draw, which then saw Sidney Chukwuweike Osahon joining the millionaires club with the sum of 20million naira.

“We notified National Lottery Regulatory Commission and maintained that it is designed to reward players who have been loyal to our brand and played the National Jackpot since 1st October to the end of 2017 Jackpot season and ensure that someone wins the Jackpot prize money before a new season”, the company said in a statement.


The Give’n’Take National Jackpot officially launched on 25th of June, 2017 with N15,000,000.00 Jackpot prize, but was increased to N20 Million. The game between 1st October 2017 to 7th January 2018 garnered 17300 tickets and the winners determined through electronic draw televised on NTA and WAP TV and Greetings 105.7 FM, among others.
