Two men, accused of stealing a neighbour’s computer were on Friday arraigned in a Sokoto Magistrates’ Court.
The defendants- Hassan Ahmad and Sadiq Shehu, are facing charges of criminal conspiracy and theft.
The prosecutor, Sgt. Monday Kennedy, told the court that the defendants, on Nov. 29 conspired and broke into the apartment of one Chidi Umuh, their neighbour and stole valuables items.
He listed the item as: an HP laptop, one palm top hand set, one PS2 game, UBA ATM card and N2,000.
The defendants pleaded not guilty, while
Chief Magistrate, Fatima Hassan granted bail to each of the defendant in the sum of N100, 000 with two sureties each in like sum.
Hassan adjourned the case until Jan. 25 for further hearing.
