Sunday Oliseh, former manager of Dutch second-tier club, Fortuna Sittard, has explained what led to his sack. The former Super Eagles coach said the management of the club had desccended on him for his refusal to participate in ”illegal activities”.“Unfortunate for the lovely fans, my players and our hard fought phenomenal positioning for promotion.” Oliseh, in his tweet, refused to specify what the ”illegal activities” were. Fortuna are third on the table with 44 points, five behind leaders NEC Nijmegen. The club has qualified for the play-offs for promotion to the Eredivisie.
“I confirm: Due to my refusal to participate in Illegal activities at Fortuna sittard and violate the Law, I have been Suspended from my duties as Coach by the foreign owners of Fortuna,” Oliseh wrote on Twitter on Wednesday.
