Abdullahi Ganduje, Governor of Kano state, has said that the state will vote massively for President Muhammadu Buhari if he decides to re-contest for the Presidency in 2019. He said the state would generate as many as five million votes to ensure the All Progressives Congress' candidate returns to Aso Rock for another tenure.
Ganduje said this at the swearing-in of the 44 new local government council chairmen and 484 councillors on Monday. He said the victory at the polls showed the people in the state were strong supporters of the APC.
He warned the inaugurated council heads to stay away from corruption. He said anyone caught would be made to ''pay the price''.
