Buhari In Yobe Over Dapchi Schoolgirls Abduction

President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Yobe State, as part of his visit to states affected by Boko Haram attacks and herdsmen-farmers crisis.

The President landed in Damaturu, the state capital on Wednesday and was received by the state governor, Ibrahim Gaidam, and other top government officials.

During the one day visit, he is expected to meet with parents of the abducted Dapchi schoolgirls, traditional rulers, and community leaders, among other stakeholders in the state.

Meanwhile, President Buhari had a stopover in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, where he was earlier received by Governor Kashim Shettima.
