Super Falcons have slipped one place in the latest FIFA women's world ranking released on Friday. The Falcons were 37th in the world with 1613 points in December but have now slipped to 38th with 1608 points.
The team however maintained their number ranking in Africa. Ghana, who edged the Falcons to the WAFU Women's Cup, are second while Cameroon, South Africa and Equatorial Guinea make up the top five.
Ivory coast, Morocco, Egypt, Senegal and Mali are sixth, seventh, eight, ninth and tenth in Africa respectively.
Super Falcons will next month play a friendly with France, who moved up one spot to the fifth position in the world with 2025 points while USA, England, Germany and Canada make the world's top five.
