Wilfried Ndidi was sent off in his club, Leicester City’s 2-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday. The 21-year-old was last sent off on his birthday in December in their 3-0 loss to Crystal Palace at the King Power Stadium.
The Super Eagles midfielder was given his marching orders in the 87th minute after he received a second yellow. Ndidi has amassed a total of eight bookings this season.
Leicester would go on to win the game after Jamie Vardy converted a ball through to him by Demarai Gray in the 96th minute.
The red card now rules Ndidi out of Leicester City;’s next Premier League outing against Newcastle United on Saturday, April 7 at the King Power Stadium.
