Polish National team head coach, Adam Nawalka has said that his team did not get the reward they deserved for their performance following Friday’s 1-0 loss to Nigeria in an international friendly.
Victor Moses stunned the hosts at the Municipal Stadium, Wroclaw, when he converted a 61st minute penalty to consolidate Super Eagles' unbeaten run under Gernot Rohr.
Though the Poles created scoring chances, theywere let down in the final third by some great goalkeeping by Eagles' Francis Uzoho.
“Every failure always hurts, but I think we played better than them (Nigeria). We didn’t deserve to lose the game and also created better chances to win the game," Nawalka said during his post-match press conference.
“We have now failed to score in our last three games. It certainly hurts, but we won’t allow that to discourage us as we know what to improve on.
“More so because we tested a new system which we intend to use in subsequent games.”
