Ima Niboro, a former aide of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has said that the ruling All Progressives Congress will retain power in the 2019 general elections. He said despite the challenges facing the party, it could rely on some of its members to deliver victory in the forthcoming polls.
Niboro also said it was evident that the party would seize Delta state from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. He said this was demonstrated in the last LGA elections, where the party would have scored major points but for the ''shenanigans of the state-controlled DSIEC''.
He called on the APC supporters in the state to continue to keep faith with the party, saying it was the only party capable of effecting the much craved change in the state. Niboro joined APC in 2016.
