Mike Tyson, a former Heavyweight boxer, has said that British-Nigerian boxer, Anthony Joshua was not impressive in his unification title fight against Joseph Parker on March 31.
Joshua defeated Parker in a 12-round bout by Judges’ unanimous decision. He had failed to spark against the New Zealander as many had expected a straight knockout, including Tyson.
Tyson criticized the 28-year-old’s display, saying he doubts Joshua’s world title credentials.
“Joshua looked like he was the guy to become undisputed champion but in his last fight, he did not impress me,” he told Showtime.
“Deontay Wilder is improving, he’s getting better.”
The only major world title missing in the Briton’s collection is the WBC, held by American Deontay Wilder.
