Kayode Fayemi, the Minister of Mines and Steel, has vowed to prosecute outgoing Ekiti Governor Ayodele Fayose. Fayemi said this at a well-attended rally he held in Ado Ekiti, capital of Ekiti state, on Saturday. Fayemi, a former governor of the state between 2010 and 2014, said he had “unfinished business” to do at the Ekiti government house, hence his seeking re-election. “I came with a profound sense of unfinished business and we have to finish what we have started. “They said the June 21 governorship poll is free, fair and credible, so that of July 14 will be free , fair and transparent as well. They will accuse us of so many things. They will accuse us of using federal might, but we will not care,” he told the cheering crowd. Fayose unseated Fayemi in 2014, winning a landslide victory.
