Five suspected boko haram members have been arrested, says the Nigerian Army. In its statement, the Nigerian Army named the suspects-who were arrested on 26th and 27th April in Yobe state-as Chari Masaa, 40, Gonbuzu Abar, 30, Modu Moduchollo, 20, Titta Masawa, 20, and Gambo Idrisa, 30.
The suspects were arrested by troops of 233 Battalion of the Nigerian Army while carrying out a raid on Mingel and Damagun villages in Fune Local Government Area of Yobe state. Items recovered from the suspects include four Techno phones, N150,000 cash.
Also, troops of Forward Operation Base, Potiskum, on 26 April 2018, during a routine patrol arrested a suspected Boko Haram terrorist, Sailsu Musa, 30, of Sabon Gari Duddaye village in Nangere Local Government Area.
