The Super Eagles of Nigeria will play a friendly against Congo DR in Port Harcourt on May 27, 2018, a source in the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has said. The game is meant to be the final warm-up match for the Gernot Rohr-led side before the World Cup in Russia.
“The match against DRC will now be played in Port Harcourt,” a top official informed SCORENigeria.
The source said Abuja and Uyo were also considered but the former was dropped due to the bad state of its facilities.
