Genevieve Nnaji Melts Hearts With “Shaku Shaku” Dance


Nigerian actor, Genevieve Nnaji, Friday displayed her never-before-seen dance steps in an acclaimed video posted on Instagram. The delectable actress was shown in the video dancing Shaku Shaku, a dance style synonymous with Olamide’s song, “Science Student”. Spotting a black jacket over a fitting pair of jeans and black heels, Nnaji delighted many celebrities and fans with her graceful dance movement and gestures.

The video, which gathered about 16,394 comments six hours after it was posted, has been shared by some celebrities including Olamide. Olamide commented on Genevieve’s page using five crown emojis (depicting “Queen”). Other celebrities who hailed Genevieve included Tonto Dike, Ini Edo, Rita Dominic, Uche Jombo, former Miss World Oluchi Onweagba, ex-BBNaija housemate Marvis Nkpornwi.

Nnaji, 39, started her acting career as a child actor in rested television soap, Ripples. Her later busted the film industry as a 19-year-old adult, starring in the movie “Most Wanted”.

The single mother, who seemed to have taken a hiatus from acting, has starred in many movies and won laurels. She was decorated with a national award - the  Order of Niger – in 2011. Nnaji is currently in the U.S.
